The Relationship OS, Refined.

You don't store contacts. You protect relationships.

The problem

Important relationships disappear — not because people stop caring, but because the tools they use were never built to hold on.

01

Meeting the right people is scattershot.

Random events, cold outreach, hoping someone makes an introduction — discovery often comes down to luck more than any real system.

02

Maintaining relationships fails silently.

No error message tells you a connection is going cold. It just does — quietly, until the moment you actually need it.

How Nectiv thinks about it

How Nectiv actually works

A few signature moments, not a hundred features.

Digital Card

The last business card you'll ever need.

One tap, and someone has your real profile — not a stack of paper in a drawer. Between members, the exchange logs the connection automatically, on both sides.

Capture While Fresh

The moment it matters most.

Right after you connect — not three months later when you can't remember why. One quick note, while it's still worth remembering.

Reconnect

The nudge that isn't guilt.

Nectiv surfaces the context to help you decide who to reach back out to, and why — real detail, not a vague "long time no see."

The Vault

You don't store contacts. You protect relationships.

Every connection, tracked at a glance — active, cooling, cold. Not a spreadsheet. A living record of where each relationship actually stands.

Why this matters

There's a limit to how many relationships we can meaningfully maintain.

~150

Anthropologist Robin Dunbar's influential, widely-cited estimate for how many relationships the human brain can meaningfully track. The precise number is genuinely debated — a 2021 statistical reanalysis found the range too wide to pin down exactly, though Dunbar and others point to independent real-world evidence (calling networks, online communities) supporting a similar scale. The underlying point holds regardless of the exact figure: there's a real, meaningful limit, far smaller than most professional networks claim to be.

Professional networks can grow into the thousands. Human attention does not.

Real, not performed

No follower counts. No fabricated proof. Nothing to perform for.

Real founding members. No purchased followers, no growth-hacked numbers anywhere.

Clear labels around AI.Anything AI-assisted is disclosed — never passed off as your own unaided words. Enhance only works with context you've actually saved; it never invents a detail on your behalf.

No artificial network counts. Nowhere on Nectiv will you see a public follower or connection tally.

Applications reviewed by hand. Not an automated funnel — real people deciding who joins early.
